The banks of the Douro never stop delighting your senses.

  1. Régua.. thank you so much for refreshing my memory. For weeks now, after watching your paintings and Paolo's, I was trying to remember the name of this town, which I visited in 1997. I remember this bridge even, that you painted so beautifully in its surroundings, and the railway station in this (at that time) slightly depressed town that somehow gained my affection.

  4. Mineke, I hope you'll go back and visit Portugal again. You won't be sorry.

  5. Love the multi-color sky. This technique you used on the sky is a bit different from your usually stormy sky. I also love the shadow of the buildings in the water under the bridge. The Southern Jewel
