A cidade de Elizabeth em New Jersey (30 minutos a sudoeste de Nova Iorque) é uma espécie de terra natal Americana para mim. Ainda que eu tenha nascido e crescido em Portugal, quando chequei aqui em 1974 senti-me em casa porque os meus pais já aqui estavam em Elizabeth. Continuo a ter aqui muitos familiares e bons amigos e é sempre bom voltar.Esta Catedral fica na área de Elizabethport.
Elizabeth, NJ is my American hometown. Although I was born and raised in Portugal, when I came to the US, this is where I first arrived - after JFK International - in 1974 and where I lived for several years. So it feels like home. This landmark Cathedral is on 2nd St. in the Elizabethport area.

This is a beautiful church. They don’t make churches like this anymore. I wish some of the architects would go back in time. Delightful painting! Great workmanship!

A perspectiva é convincente.
Ao olhar para esta obra, não pude deixar de pensar naquelas cenas dos duelos do Dartacão (não sei se conheces).
