Serra da Lousã

This painting was done for my good friends M.J. and A. Gonçalves who provided the reference photo. I dragged my feet  and procrastinated a lot because I am always intimidated of painting a lot of greenery and vegetation.

Watercolor, 9x12 in, Arches paper, 300 Lb, cold press

    Cumprimentos,
    Manuel

  3. No need to drag your feet anymore, beautiful painting. I admire how you achieved this depth by using colours and detailing.
Really takes me back to the region.

  4. Thanks so much Rene! I always get nervous when I am painting a commissioned work.
I see you are keeping your work always so creative. I was taken aback by the Tower Bridge...outstanding!
    Happy Holidays to you!
