My first try on the new Blick Premier watercolor paper (10x14"). Not disappointed at all, sturdy and great surface texture.

After rebirth from the dust, the home of Aristides de Sousa Mendes in Beira Alta, Portugal now shows a bright new face. Sousa Mendes, the Portuguese Consul in Boudeaux, France, lost everything after, against direct orders from Lisbon, he saved thousands of Jews from the Nazi claws by issuing them exit visas to Portugal. From there, many went on to the United States. Many people fought and worked tirelessly for a long time for this building to be saved from oblivion.

Depois de renascer da poeira, a casa Beirã de Aristides de Sousa Mendes aparece finalmente com nova cara. Graças aos esforços e abnegação de muita gente que por muito tempo lutou para a recuperar. Sousa Mendes perdeu tudo e morreu indigente devido à sua humanidade. Contra ordens diretas de Salazar, ele salvou milhares de Judeus das garras dos Nazis quand ele lhes deu vistos de entrada em Portugal.
