Detalhe Serrano – Mountain Close-Up

Pintei isto combinando duas fotografias que tirei no meu quintal, uma um ano depois da outra. Imaginei os cogumelos, flor e pedra na encosta duma serra.


I painted this by combining two photos taken in my backyard one year apart. I imagined the mushrooms, blooms and stone on the slope of a mountain.

Cena Campestre - Country Scene

Ultimamente o calendário tem andado um pouco agitado, deixando pouco tempo para pintar. Hoje desenferrugei os dedos com esta cena rural inspirada numa fotografia pela minha prima Cristina Mato.


Lately the calendar has been a little agitated, leaving little time for painting. Today I tried to shake up the  fingers with this country scene loosely based on a photo by my cousin Cristina Mato.
